Hightlights

Fuji from Above the Clouds

Start your walk just 15 minutes from the 5th Station, where the forest suddenly opens to a breathtaking panoramic view.
The summit of Mt. Fuji rises above, surrounded by sweeping highland scenery.
At 2,300 meters, the trail often sits above the clouds—offering a rare chance to see Mt. Fuji floating in the sky.

Life on the Edge: Alpine Flora & Fauna

This area lies at the forest’s upper edge, where strong winds and harsh conditions shape all living things.
Look for trees bent like flags and alpine flowers blooming quietly in summer.
Local guides may point out wild herbs once used as elixirs—clues to ancient mountain wisdom.

Silence of the High Mountains

This trail runs along Fuji's lesser-known northern ridgeline, far from the crowded viewpoints that define most visits to the mountain. The path winds through dense cedar forest before opening onto elevated terrain with unobstructed views — the kind that stop you mid-step.
